Exercise is the only PROVEN method to stop or slow down the progression of Parkinson's disease. All of our fitness therapy classes are researched based and  are designed to alleviate your Parkinson's symptoms. All levels are welcome!

Creativity and Movement

The Art Cart is the leading art and movement program in the United States. Through art and movement, the Smile Through Art Workshops challenge those with Parkinson's by combating symptoms of Parkinson's such as fine motor control, gross motor control, rigidity, tremors, depression, and micrographic. We are lucky to host this program once per month.

PD Yoga

Yoga for people with Parkinson's disease has been proven to Increase flexibility, better balance, greater strength, fewer muscle cramps, deeper, easier breathing and peace of mind. All levels are welcome .

PHIT: Parkinson's High Intensity Training

Research into the effects of exercise in the management of Parkinson's disease suggests that regular high-intensity physical activity may help to keep disease progression in check. Our PHIT program, is designed for other fitness and therapy professionals to learn how to implement high intensity exercise for their Parkinson's patients.

Cognition and Focused Exercise

Our exercise programs promote positive and significant effects on global cognitive function, processing speed, sustained attention and mental flexibility in PD patients, at a mild to moderate stage for patients.

Spin for Parkinson's

Cycling on stationary bikes may benefit people with Parkinson's disease, especially if they cycle hard and fast. This was the finding of a new study presented this week at a scientific meeting in the US, that describes how researchers found cycling, especially at rates above what patients would choose for themselves, appeared to make regions of the brain that deal with movement connect to each other more effectively.
